More about AKAEI's Product development!

AKAEI was designed in Ottawa, Ontario, and Chelsea, Quebec, by Canadian aerospace engineers.

The development process spanned approximately two years and involved numerous prototypes and extensive testing over two winter seasons (2024–2025 and 2025–2026).

The poles were tested at Camp Fortune, Quebec and Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. The system was tested by ski patrollers, expert skiers, and ski retailers under real-world conditions.

In addition, key components of the design underwent lifetime testing to help ensure long-term reliability and durability.

The result is a high-quality product that we are proud to bring to the market.
